Lovett, preceding his father Jon "Rocky" Lovett, whom has been serving a guide for Marble Canyon Outfitters for over 10 years and has been an owner for 2 years. Mick was born and rased in the Lee's Ferry area, and in fact caught his first fish on Lee's Ferry at just 4 years of age. He has a lot of experience fishing in the four corners states, and aspecially at "The Ferry". Mick J. Lovett is passionate about fishing, he is young, ambitious, and well prepared for the many great experiences ahead. ReplyDeleteYou have it backwards, it's Mark and I who owe you the special thanks for a fantastic three days of fishing. Your knowledge of the river and fishing are the reason we each caught close to 60 fish (and that's not counting the ones that got away or we missed on their strikes). There were times when the fish were coming so fast, we couldn't get our midges back in the water fast enough.
I have fished a lot of places and can tell you that Lee's Ferry is definitely one of the best and definitely one of the most beautiful places to fish.
The number of fish, the easy wading, and your expert help made for a truly memorable trip.
I am sure you will be seeing us and all our buddies who are drooling over our stories about the trip in the future.
